Impresario

Terms of use

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Please read these terms before using Impresario.

1. About these terms

By downloading or using Impresario (“the app”), you agree to these terms. They apply together with Apple’s standard license agreement for apps.

2. What the app does

Impresario lets you scan or import sheet music, organize it into a library, read it on screen, mark it up with Apple Pencil, and export it. It also includes practice tools: a metronome, a tuner and reference tones. The app contains no music. All music in it is music you add.

3. Your music, your responsibility

4. Your files and markings

5. Automatic reading

The app reads titles, composers, arrangers and instruments from pages automatically. It can make mistakes, so check each name before you save.

6. Performing

Don’t rely only on the app in a concert or rehearsal. Keep copies of your music, charge your iPad, and keep a backup plan in case of battery, Bluetooth or device problems. The metronome and tuner are practice aids and can be inaccurate, especially in noisy rooms or with very low or very high notes.

7. Other products and services

The app works with products and services made by others, such as Apple Pencil, Bluetooth page turners, the Files app, iCloud Drive and Google Drive. These are separate products. Compatibility isn’t guaranteed, and they have their own terms. Michael Cascardi isn’t affiliated with Apple, Google or any page-turner maker. Their names belong to their owners.

8. Using the app fairly

Don’t use the app for anything unlawful, and don’t copy, modify or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows.

9. Ownership and license

The app and its design belong to Michael Cascardi. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use it on your devices. Purchases, billing and refunds are handled by the App Store.

10. No warranty

The app is provided “as is,” without promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Michael Cascardi is not liable for lost files or markings, missed performances or any indirect damages from using the app.

12. Ending

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Michael Cascardi may end your license if you break these terms.

13. Changes

I may update these terms. If you keep using the app after an update, you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Questions: mcascardi@impresario.site.
